At Google I worked on not-yet-released consumer electronics in the Wearables technology space. Before my current project, I helped launch the playful Google Clips: a machine-learning enabled miniature camera.
Responsibilities and Accomplishments
Early architecture development of cutting-edge wearable technologies
Ideation / brainstorming
Prototype design: subsystem and full-system
Design for reliability
Drop, impact, dust/water resistance, environmental, fatigue loading testing
Factory build support
Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT build support, as well as part vendor visits
Design for manufacturing and assembly
Experienced in multiple manufacturing methods including but not limited to:
Plastic & metal injection molding, CNC machining, metal stamping, magnet sintering, die cuts, adhesion, PCB and FPC fabrication.
Mechanism design: buttons, latches, on-off switches, rotational sensors.
