At Google I worked on not-yet-released consumer electronics in the Wearables technology space. Before my current project, I helped launch the playful Google Clips: a machine-learning enabled miniature camera.

Responsibilities and Accomplishments

  • Early architecture development of cutting-edge wearable technologies

    • Ideation / brainstorming

    • Prototype design: subsystem and full-system

  • Design for reliability

    • Drop, impact, dust/water resistance, environmental, fatigue loading testing

  • Factory build support

    • Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT build support, as well as part vendor visits

  • Design for manufacturing and assembly

  • Experienced in multiple manufacturing methods including but not limited to:

    • Plastic & metal injection molding, CNC machining, metal stamping, magnet sintering, die cuts, adhesion, PCB and FPC fabrication.

  • Mechanism design: buttons, latches, on-off switches, rotational sensors.
